Who I am

Hi, I'm Mykola Prisichenko (pronounced Meh-kola Pree-see-chen-ko). I'm a Physician Assistant by profession and a photographer/videographer by passion.

It all started back in middle school with a skateboard and a dream. Like many kids, my friends and I imagined making it big in skateboarding — but someone needed to film us. I volunteered, picked up an old Canon 70D, and unknowingly found my true passion: photography/videography.

Soon, the camera became more than just a tool for filming. In high school, while playing soccer (and spending a fair amount of time on the bench), I brought my camera to games, capturing moments for the team.

Before long, seniors on the team asked me to take their senior portraits — which I happily did for free. Word of mouth spread, and soon I was photographing classmates' families, weddings, real estate listings, events, and more. Photography seamlessly wove itself into every season of my life.

While my professional path led me into healthcare — earning my master's degree and becoming a Physician Assistant — I never set the camera down. During my university years, I earned a competitive position at the university's Promotions Office photography team, where I was trusted to photograph major campus events and provide professional headshots for students, faculty, and staff. It was an incredible opportunity to refine my skills in a fast-paced, professional setting — and to keep my passion for photography thriving alongside my academic journey.

Today, I’m grateful to live and work in beautiful Orange County, California, where I blend my passion for storytelling with my love of connecting with people. Photography has always been about capturing genuine emotions, real moments, and memories that last a lifetime — and I'd be honored to help tell your story next.
